Professional Therapy for Depression
You’re sick of going through the motions everyday.
Everything and everyone is annoying. “Self-care” feels like a joke; who has time for that? Like a bubble bath is going to help. As much as you’ve been trying to figure out how to “feel better” on your own, nothing has changed. It’s overwhelming and you’ve had enough.
It’s time to do something about it.
Our job is to work ourselves out of a job.
Our goal is to help our clients come out of our time together feeling confident, purposeful, and intentional about tackling all of life’s challenges through meaning making and skill building. If we’ve done our job well, you’ll walk away with with a new awareness and skillset for life.
People find us at different stages of their lives, but they have a few things in common. They want to feel motivated and successful, proud of themselves and the things they do. They want to feel confident in their decisions, more peaceful in their relationships, and happier in their lives.
How does therapy work?
We begin with an initial interview and collaborate to map out a plan tailored just for you. Depending on your goals, we might use things like depression assessments or specific exercises. Subsequent appointments will be used to review those results and to dig into your experiences in completing them. Throughout all of our work together, we’ll continue assessing our progress toward your goals, helping you to refine them and ultimately achieve them.
A note about goals: they might shift over time, and this is absolutely okay and even expected. Clarity and direction come from deepened understanding, and these, in turn, lead to confidence and motivation. As you grow in your ability to make decisions and adjustments in your work life to improve your happiness, that confidence and happiness flows into other areas of your life as well.
Your time is valuable. We offer in-person and online appointment, which allow for flexibility and ease in scheduling. As long as you have a reliable internet connection and a private space, you’re good to go.
